It's not just me, then: Old Man Yells at Cloud

I don’t know what’s happening, but after spending too much time yesterday figuring out some export codes in my Tinderbox-driven blog, I started wondering if it makes sense to focus on fewer tools. I’m comfortable in Emacs and I’m reasonably comfortable with Hugo. Should I spend my time getting better at those and not learning more of the intracacies of Tinderbox’s export system?

I saw that masto.host was once again offering new instances, so I signed up for one. It's a tiny $6/month instance meant for just me. That's right, after deciding a single-user instance wasn't right for me a month ago, I'm doing it again. "Deciding" is one of those mushy words for me. I'm @jack@social.baty.net (https://social.baty.net/@jack). I may migrate from fosstodon.org but haven't decided that yet. There's that word again.
