Shooting film is more work than digital...until it's scanned. Then, the only thing there is to do is remove a few dust spots, tweak exposure a touch, and you're done. I prefer this.

I find it hard to believe that there is actually some debate around whether to keep photographic negatives once they've been scanned/printed. OF COURSE you should keep the negatives.

Hooboy, that rings. And there's always work resisting the temptation to this...
There is a new focus, an attempt to present an aesthetic, an idea, an editorial "look." Many of my photos no longer even feature people. Instead, they become dominated by images of myself alone, or empty landscapes. What has replaced the people? Objects.
