The drama around Twitter only matters for people who care about the drama around Twitter. I've been missing "good Twitter" for years, so I'm only mildly interested in what idiotic things Musk might do to it.

I'm seeing lots of long-time Mastodon users trying to "guide" recent Twitter refugees on the proper way to use Mastodon. "This is not Twitter..." etc. Good luck with that.

I'm very tempted to not admit this, but I have this weird feeling that I'm more likely to use Twitter post-Musk than pre-Musk. The guy bugs me, but I don't think his vision for Twitter is wrong in the way that many people assume it is.
