Pulling away from Emacs

I can’t seem to quit using Emacs, although I want to quit using Emacs. It’s hard to put my finger on why that is, though. It’s probably just boredom. I’ve been writing in Emacs nearly all the time for a decade now, and I’m a little bored by it. Emacs is not boring of course. There’s no end to the fun things it can do, but in the end, they’re all in Emacs. I want to use iA Writer or BBEdit or Zed or Tinderbox or even Apple Notes. I’m typing this in Tinderbox and having a ball right now.
