An inaugural newsletter arrived in my mailbox this morning, and while it looks to be interesting and well-done, it's just more of the same. Internet culture, social media, software news, AI, etc. I'm weary of all of it.

Thanks to a heads up from Dave Rogers, I've cleaned up the RSS feed metadata and fixed the links.

And speaking of Dave Rogers, he wrote a nice post, addressed to me, about blogging, and linking and using Tinderbox. The timing was perfect, because I've been back to posting my daily notes here on daily.baty.net using Tinderbox and I'm having a ball.

I've restarted my Micro.blog subscription (again). The vibe there is different, and in a good way. I drift away for a while, miss it, and head back. This time I'm going to hook in the noisy RSS feed from daily.baty.net and see how that feels. I'm nervous because a lot of the things I post in my Daily Notes are not things I'd say in a crowded room, but we'll see. If it feels constrictive, I'll revert.
