I have not done a good job with 4x5 film lately. Here, I've missed focus and the negative stuck to the processing tank. It's still fun, but discouraging. Better if I ended up with more keepers, given all the work large format takes.

After a dozen years, I'm letting go of my Day One subscription. I'm not using it enough, and it is just another decision point that I don't need. I already feel twitchy about it, though, because I loved making the books every year. Instead, I'm going to try creating a book from my Org-journal files. They won't be as fancy, but should serve the purpose well enough.

My focus dummy is cooler than me — Handsome Squidward is my focus/lighting dummy

I shouldn't use a focus/lighting dummy that is more handsome than me, as is the case with Handsome Squidward here.
