I understand both sides of the work-from-home debate, and there are two sides, but I hate the debate. Personally, I prefer working from home. However, I have noticed that no one ever mentions the work-from-home workers who fuck around way more than they would in an office. Work-from-home advocates either claim these people don't exist, or it's overblown, or (and this is most common), management is incompetent in some way so it must be their fault. It's not always a company's management that's to blame, sometimes people are just terrible at self management. I wonder how many of the most vocal work-from-home advocates are in that group?
