I spent a week using Spark Email instead of Mail.app or Emacs. It's quite nice, but it's not for me. I don't currently receive nearly enough email to make Spark's features useful, so in my case it all feels a bit overwrought.

I thought for sure that I would avoid using the WordPress editor at all costs over at rudimentarylathe.org. I figured I'd use MarsEdit or iA Writer or Ulysses or anything but Gutenberg. It hasn't happened that way. It's easier and simpler to just edit posts in WordPress. Nothing to configure. Nothing else to manage or install. Plus, I don't need to enable xml-rpc on the server. Whodathunk?

I haven't visited Twitter in more than a month and I can feel it fading into oblivion, at least for me. Weird.

It's interesting how many people buy new devices in "an effort to use my devices less." I know I'm guilty of it.
