My struggle with organizing my notes stems from the forced decision to use a file-first or note-first process. Emacs and Obsidian are decidedly note-first. Things like Apple's Finder or DEVONthink are file-first. I've been failing to combine these approaches for years.

I posted to my old Blot blog for no particular reason today. While I was in there I moved it back under the baty.blog domain. Just in case.
