I'm trying to figure out where I prefer posting stuff and why. Yesterday, I wrote on, let's see; the wiki, this blog, my other two blogs, and on Mastodon. Yikes. Thing is, even though I like all of them, I need to whittle it down to one or two. Currently, the hardest decision is Blot vs WordPress. WordPress has everything and doing fancy things (e.g. galleries) in it is easy. But Blot is much simpler and more pleasant to live in. I'm still noodling on it.

Some of the posts in my Blot blog were rendering as empty documents. I figured it was some sort of Dropbox issue, so I rebuilt the index in Maestral and suddenly there were 287 conflicted copies, each right next to the original zero-byte files. This took me about an hour to fix, but that's not a situation I want to be in again. Maybe WordPress isn't so bad? 😜
