Lab Notebooks and Journals

I write two types of non-project notes: personal journals and technical/process logs. I divide the digital versions of these between two places, my "Journal" and my "Daybook". The trick is that there is often overlap, and I spend too much time deciding what goes where. One solution to this might be to combine everything, but that always feels cluttered. The other problem is that I oscillate between the apps I use for each type. My curiosity, love of software, and possibly boredom all combine to create problems for myself.
