I write two types of non-project notes: personal journals and technical/process logs. I divide the digital versions of these between two places, my "Journal" and my "Daybook". The trick is that there is often overlap, and I spend too much time deciding what goes where. One solution to this might be to combine everything, but that always feels cluttered. The other problem is that I oscillate between the apps I use for each type. My curiosity, love of software, and possibly boredom all combine to create problems for myself.

I honestly don't know why anyone follows me here or anywhere online. I've been writing basically the same things for 20 years. I'm not a very good writer. I am unfocused and probably too imprecise most of the time. Perhaps my "struggles" are entertaining? I would prefer to be more interesting and useful, but here we are, gazing eternally at my navel.
